WELCOME

Echoing A Voice in the Wilderness serves women who have experienced the hurts of this world by offering coaching and courses so that they can be free in Jesus Christ and thrive, equipped, and empowered in the Holy Spirit.

About

My name is Jennifer Jewell.

I started Echoing A Voice in the Wilderness after being delivered from addiction and homelessness 20 years ago.

After going through yet another divorce in 2020 and losing both my bonus mom and bio mom within four months of each other in 2021, I was so overwhelmed with grief that, I found myself contemplating suicide.

Only by learning who I am in Christ did I truly become FREE! With one year left to obtain my master's in social work - some classes are harder than others.

I LOVE studying God's word. It is a beautiful love letter written just for me and every time I read it I gain a fresh understanding. I have deep longing to serve women like myself who have experienced the hurts of this world by offering coaching and courses so that they can be free in Jesus! Thriving, equipped, and empowered in the Holy Spirit.

Can women preach? Let's look at what the Bible has to say. Romans 16:1-5 "I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a deacon in the church in Cenchrea. Welcome her in the Lord as one who is worthy of honor among God's people. Help her in whatever she needs, for she has been helpful to many, and especially to me. Give my greetings to Priscilla and Aquila, my coworkers in the ministry of Christ Jesus. In fact, they once risked their lives for me. I am thankful to them, and so are all the Gentile churches. Also give my greetings to the church that meets in their home." Phoebe and Priscilla are mentioned in the New Testament church after the ascension of Jesus! They were coworkers with the Apostle Paul! Their names are recorded for eternity in the Bible! It doesn't get any clearer or better than that my friends.
